Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology have never been more important topics than they are today. In these exciting times, we are proud to announce the 10th edition of the highly successful international conference series on the Molecular Epidemiology and Evolutionary Genetics of Infectious Diseases (MEEGID). Together, the MEEGID congress series and its companion journal, Infection, Genetics and Evolution, represent the main forum for cross-fertilization between evolutionary science and biomedical research on infectious diseases. This major scientific event will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from 3 - 5 November 2010.MEEGID is a wide-ranging conference that deals with the molecular evolution of all pathogens: viruses, pathogenic bacteria, fungi, parasites and prions of medical, veterinary or agronomical relevance.
Through plenary lectures and symposia, special emphasis will be given to HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, ebola and influenza.
The 10th International Conference on Molecular Epidemiology and Evolutionary Genetics of Infectious Diseases is sponsored and hosted by Infection, Genetics and Evolution, the Journal of Molecular Epidemiology and Evolutionary Genetics of Infectious Diseases.
